Farmers in South Sumatra are trapped in a constant poverty cycle. They are unable to afford high quality agri-inputs, resulting in poorer crop quality and hence a lower income. This is further exacerbated by the fact that the farmers do not have a habit of saving, leaving them with little money for the future.

With AgriON’s features, farmers can open a bank account to grow their income. This allows them to buy better agri-inputs and save for a rainy day.
Educational workshops can be implemented via AgriON, to improve farmers’ financial knowledge. Farmers can then be surveyed to verify their understanding.
